We are thrilled to announce that in conjunction with Golden Homes Waikato, Waikato Tainui and Tainui Group Holdings we have now begun construction of 30 homes in the Te Kaarearea Special Housing Area.
Waikato Tainui and Tainui Group Holdings have worked on the site for a number of years to bring the 50 dwelling Te Kaarearea Special Housing Area to fruition. Through an innovative Shared Equity programme Waikato Tainui will place 18 Tainui families into houses giving these families a unique opportunity to get their foot in the door of the housing market.
The remaining 12 properties are Habitat for Progressive Home Ownership houses which aims to assist families from renting into home ownership. We are incredibly proud to be a part of this project and to help these families into their first homes.”
